On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Fondation The Ark, Mimotec is proud to be among the 20 Valais-based companies highlighted for their contribution to technological innovation. This campaign, symbolized by the banana – an iconic object from the 2000s making a comeback – showcases companies like Mimotec, recognized for its expertise in the field of UV-LIGA electroforming.

This microfabrication technology enables the production of ultra-thin metallic components with exceptional precision, ideal for applications such as micro-gears, escapement wheels and other watch mechanism parts. UV-LIGA electroforming makes it possible to create complex, high-precision parts that would be impossible to manufacture using traditional methods.
